GENTLE GIANT Acquiring The Taste (Rare 1971 UK first press8-track vinyl LP on the Vertigo ‘swirl’ label – This album tookthe band into more experimental & darker areas but is stilltheir own recognisable sound – a rich blend of hard rock &orchestration – with hints of influences from King Crimson andVan Der Graaf Generator. Complete with the poly-lined ‘swirl’inner and lyrics printed across the inside, the gatefold picturesleeve has some light shelfwear scuffing to the edges /corners and has a vintage price sticker attached to the front,while also displays some spots of age discolouration but itspretty damn good considering it was never laminated. Withjust a few light signs of play visible, the vinyl remains infantastic Excellent condition for its over FIFTY years. Nowhard to find in any condition!)
