American country rock band from Dallas, TX, fronted by lead vocalist & songwriter, Rhett Miller. They have Recorded & released twelve studio albums Since forming more than a decade ago, they have also released two full EPs, and have one live album.  Starting out as a local bar band before Bloodshed Records discovered and signed them, pioneering the alternate country rock movement during the mid-to-late 90’s. fight songs is the fourth studio album by the band and is being re-released, this album is a much more pop orientated and sleek sounding record.
